A lot of good information, but...

The eBook version of this book needs some work, pages are mixed around. There's a lot of good information in this book if you're interested in learning about the oil and gas business, as I was. I wanted to know what affects the price of gas where I live, all the factors. This book gave me my answers. But, beware, the writer assumes global warming is real and a very serious threat to mankind. They never question this at all. To me it's not only scientific to question a popular fad, but it should be questioned if you're supposedly smart enough to write a book about oil. So, you can learn something from this book, but draw your own conclusion.

Just finished this book and its a great introduction to the oil and gas industry. The author has taken her experience in the industry and used it to create an easy to understand picture of a vital cog in the global economy. I think this book could also have a lot of value as a reference to oil and gas veterans. If you are looking to get a deeper understanding of oil and gas or just refresh on a dynamic market segment this is the book for you.

I love this author! It's always nice when a very complicated subject can be explained clearly and concisely. I learned a lot about fracking and other sources of energy. I now want to read more about the subject, who knew that oil and gas could be so interesting! This is a valuable book for anyone entering this industry as an employee or as an investor.
